Company Feature: Customer Success Jobs at Stripe

Every once in a while, I like to scout out companies I think have a good culture, that will pay you well.

Today I’m featuring Stripe — the financial backbone of the internet.

What I like:

  • Stripe exists “at the money” — as a payment processor (plus other financial services), they know exactly how much revenue they are facilitating for customers at any given time. During any sales or renewal conversations, this makes value and ROI conversations really easy.

  • Stripe is a private company, which in my opinion allows them to cater their business decisions to users, rather than shareholders. They don’t seem to have any near term plans to IPO, but they do offer equity in total compensation which means it is going to happen eventually. While it likely will change the company culture, as an employee getting in before the IPO could get you life-changing cash.

  • Stripe has 8000+ employees globally in both hybrid roles and remote roles, and they pay very well, even in relation to the super expensive cities.

Here’s all the current Customer Success (and Success-adjacent) jobs available at Stripe today:

Experienced Customer Success Managers

Senior, Enterprise and Principal Customer Success Managers

What if you felt calm, organized, and successful every week?

As both a Customer Success Manager and Customer Success Leader, I developed this method for organizing a stress-free week, and I’d like to share it with you, for free.

You can print it out and use it each week, share it with your team — whatever you need to have the best week ever as a CSM.

Leadership

High-paying Entry Level and Career Change Roles

While the roles below are not strictly Customer Success, they are great foot-in-the-door roles that would give you a springboard to a Success role, while paying you very well in the meantime. Especially if you have any software experience, particularly Support, these jobs likely pay more than you currently make + offer lots of new opportunities.

Onboarding and Implementation

Account Management, Renewals

CS Engineering, Consulting, Analysts
